Elderly residents in South Jakarta are happy about the disbursement of social assistance through the Jakarta Elderly Card (KLJ) as of December 2024.

I received the KLJ find by Rp 900,000 yesterday

As experienced by one of the KLJ recipients, Rame (65) from Gg Jelawe, RT 10/08, Gunung Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district. He expressed his happiness and gratitude for KLJ Phase 4 disbursement.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), I received the KLJ find by Rp 900,000 yesterday. Very happy because it is right on the momentum at the end of the year," she expressed, Wednesday (12/17).

She, who sells Nasi Uduk (steamed coconut rice) and Lontong Sayur (cooked rice that is wrapped in banana leaf and then steamed) every day, admitted that KLJ is very helpful in meeting her daily needs considering that her husband is no longer able to work.

"Thank you Jakarta Government for the social assistance. Hope it can be a routine agenda and the amount is increased," she added.

The same statement also came out from another recipient from Jalan Hang Jebat, RT 06/08, Gunung Urban Village, Nuryati (62). "Thank you for the KLJ aid funds which have helped my daily life. I'm a widow and still have one unmarried child to support. Hopefully, this aid will continue," she closed.
